Polyethylene Terephthalate — the foundation for plastics and polymers. Produced by polycondensation of pure terephthalic acid and mono-ethylene glycol. Available in bottle grade and textile grade for diverse applications.
PET chips serve as the building block for the world's most widely used packaging polymer. Excellent clarity, strength, and barrier properties make PET the preferred choice for beverages, food, and textiles.
High L-value (83 min) ensures crystal-clear bottles and packaging. Low b-value (1 max) means no yellowing — ideal for water and beverage bottles.
Ultra-low acetaldehyde content (1 ppm max) ensures no off-taste in beverage packaging. Critical for water and carbonated drink bottles.
Excellent gas barrier performance. PET bottles withstand carbonation pressure, protect against oxygen ingress, and preserve flavour and freshness.
PET is the most widely recycled plastic worldwide. Fully recyclable into new bottles, fibre, strapping, and sheet applications. Supports circular economy.
Controlled intrinsic viscosity (0.80 ± 0.02 dL/g) ensures batch-to-batch consistency for high-speed preform injection moulding and fibre spinning.
PET bottles are 10x lighter than glass with comparable strength. Reduces shipping costs, carbon footprint, and breakage across the supply chain.
Water bottles, carbonated drink bottles, juice containers, and sports drink bottles. Withstands carbonation pressure and preserves taste.
Food containers, sauce bottles, pharmaceutical packaging, and personal care product bottles. FDA-compliant for direct food contact.
Polyester staple fibre, filament yarn for apparel, home textiles (bed sheets, curtains), carpets, upholstery, and industrial textiles.
BOPET films for packaging, electrical insulation, and display applications. PET sheets for thermoforming and industrial uses.
Core specifications for bottle-grade PET chips. See the Technical Data Sheet for full details.

PET chips require pre-drying before processing. Crystallize and dry to <50 ppm moisture for optimal results.
Store in cool, dry, enclosed area. Keep in original sealed packaging away from moisture. PET is hygroscopic — absorbs moisture readily. Pre-dry before processing at 160–170°C for 4–6 hours.
