Isobutylene Isoprene Rubber (IIR) — the most gas-impermeable synthetic rubber available. Exceptional chemical resistance, vibration damping, and weather durability.
Butyl Rubber's near-zero gas permeability and outstanding chemical resistance make it irreplaceable in applications demanding airtight performance and long-term durability.
The lowest gas permeability of any commercial rubber. Essential for tyre inner tubes, tubeless liners, inflatable bladders, and gas-tight seals.
Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and oxidizing agents. Suitable for pharmaceutical, chemical processing, and industrial sealing applications.
Maintains integrity under UV exposure, ozone, and extreme temperatures. Preferred for roofing membranes, window seals, and outdoor applications.
Superior energy absorption and dissipation properties. Ideal for shock absorbers, engine mounts, vibration dampers, and noise-reduction systems.
Good dielectric properties for cable insulation, electronic enclosure gaskets, and high-voltage applications requiring non-conductivity.
Highly flexible and elastic under repeated stretching and bending. Maintains shape and performance throughout extended service life.
The primary application of Butyl Rubber globally. Near-zero air permeability keeps tyres inflated longer, improving safety and fuel efficiency.
Airtight and chemical-resistant seals for automotive, pharmaceutical, and industrial equipment. Window seals, door gaskets, and O-rings.
EPDM/Butyl roofing membranes, pond liners, and waterproofing sheets. Outstanding weather resistance for decades of outdoor service.
Engine mounts, shock absorbers, anti-vibration pads, and acoustic damping. Absorbs and dissipates mechanical energy efficiently.
