PBAT — Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate

Overview
PBAT is a fully biodegradable polymer that breaks down into CO₂, water, and biomass under industrial composting. It combines the flexibility and processability of conventional plastics with genuine end-of-life compostability — making it the go-to resin for manufacturers replacing single-use PE films.

Processing Methods
Blown film extrusion · Cast film · Injection moulding · Thermoforming. Standard PE equipment — no line modifications required. Recommended barrel temp: 140–170°C. Pre-drying at 60°C for 4 hrs.
